This is a compilation of the music I've produced since 2020, essentially a sequel to "Selected Things + Automobiles: 2018-2019". There are 5 different DAWs represented on this album, and each track has more info about it including which DAW was used.

To me, this album has a lot more diversity on it. The last compilation was a monolith of light electronic music, but the tracks on this one range from indie rock to heavy synth-based music to acoustic ballads. There's a heavy focus on the guitar that simply wasn't possible on Automobiles because I didn't have the equipment to record physical instruments.

I've been writing a lot of lyrics lately and have a growing collection of more traditionally formatted acoustic guitar/vocals songs that I hope to polish and record soon. This album has some vocal experiments on it, but I want to try to pursue something more refined. Also, Jake, who drew the album covert art, might be helping out on the upright(!) so keep an eye out for that in the coming months. Couldn't have put this together without their help and feedback.

I also want to thank Lydia for writing a bunch of songs with me over the past few weeks. Hopefully those tracks can make it onto the internet somehow! Finally, I want to thank Oli and Greg (again) for being a band with me. Every time I listen back to the stuff we worked on I remember how awesome that was.
